We believe that Scripture alone is the supreme and final authority for faith and practice. The Word of God is the ultimate standard by which all doctrines and confessions are judged, and all other statements of faith remain subordinate to the authority of Holy Scripture. It is through Scripture that the church is called to faithfully confess “the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.”

We believe this faith is faithfully summarized in the historic Ecumenical Creeds of the Christian Church, particularly the Apostles Creed, Nicene Creed, Athanasian Creed and the Definition of Chalcedon. We also embrace the central truths recovered during the Protestant Reformation, which faithfully express the teachings of Scripture and are further articulated in the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith.
